1. Who we are
Gottardo Live is an iOS app by Fabrizio Bacchin (Switzerland) that shows real-time traffic information for the Gotthard road tunnel. For anything related to this policy, contact bacchin@tiscali.it.
2. Advertising
The free app shows one banner advert supplied by Google AdMob. To select, deliver, measure and protect those ads, Google's advertising SDK may process technical data from your device — such as a device/advertising identifier, IP address, coarse (non-precise) location and ad-interaction data. For this processing Google acts as an independent data controller under its own policies.
In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland we ask for your consent through Google's consent form before any ad is requested. You can change or withdraw that choice at any time in Settings → Privacy options inside the app. If you decline, only non-personalised (“limited”) ads are shown.
The app asks for your permission through Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt before any tracking. If you allow it, ads may be personalised using your device's advertising identifier (IDFA); if you decline, you will only see non-personalised ads. You can change this anytime in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking. Apple's SKAdNetwork is used for privacy-preserving install measurement.
3. Data the app sends (push notifications)
If — and only if — you allow notifications, the app registers your device with our notification service (Back4App, a Parse hosting provider). The registration contains:
- the anonymous Apple push token of your device (APNs)
- a random installation identifier generated by the app
- device type ("ios"), app version, time zone and language setting
None of this identifies you personally, it is not linked to any account and it is used exclusively to deliver traffic notifications. It is never sold or shared for advertising. If you deny or later disable notifications, no registration is created or used. You may request deletion of your registration at any time by email.
4. Services the app talks to
To display live data and ads, the app connects to the services below. As with any internet request, they technically process your IP address for the duration of the request.

5. Data stored on your device only
Your settings, your ad-consent choice and the local traffic-history samples used for the 24-hour chart are stored on your device and are not uploaded to us. Deleting the app deletes them.
6. What we don't do
- No user accounts, no profiles
- No analytics or usage measurement of our own
- No tracking without your permission — we ask through Apple's App Tracking Transparency and honour your choice
- No sale of your data
- No data knowingly collected from children — the app is a traffic utility rated 4+
7. Your rights
Under Swiss data-protection law (nFADP) and the GDPR you may request access to, correction or deletion of the data described in section 3. Since we hold no identifying information, please include the approximate date you enabled notifications so we can locate the registration. Write to bacchin@tiscali.it. For the advertising data processed by Google, please refer to Google and Google's own privacy controls.
8. Changes
This policy will be updated whenever the app's data practices change, and the "last updated" date above will change accordingly.

1. Chi siamo
Gottardo Live è un'app iOS di Fabrizio Bacchin (Svizzera) che mostra informazioni sul traffico in tempo reale per il tunnel autostradale del San Gottardo. Per qualsiasi cosa relativa a questa informativa, scrivi a bacchin@tiscali.it.
2. Pubblicità
L'app gratuita mostra un banner pubblicitario fornito da Google AdMob. Per selezionare, mostrare, misurare e proteggere gli annunci, l'SDK pubblicitario di Google può trattare dati tecnici del tuo dispositivo — come un identificativo del dispositivo/pubblicitario, l'indirizzo IP, la posizione approssimativa (non precisa) e i dati di interazione con gli annunci. Per questo trattamento Google agisce come titolare autonomo secondo le proprie policy.
Nello Spazio economico europeo, nel Regno Unito e in Svizzera chiediamo il tuo consenso tramite il modulo di Google prima di qualsiasi richiesta di annuncio. Puoi cambiare o revocare la scelta in qualsiasi momento da Impostazioni → Opzioni privacy nell'app. Se rifiuti, vengono mostrati solo annunci non personalizzati (“limited ads”).
L'app chiede il tuo permesso tramite il dialogo App Tracking Transparency di Apple prima di qualsiasi tracciamento. Se lo concedi, gli annunci possono essere personalizzati usando l'identificativo pubblicitario del dispositivo (IDFA); se lo rifiuti, vedrai solo annunci non personalizzati. Puoi cambiare la scelta in qualsiasi momento in Impostazioni iOS → Privacy e sicurezza → Tracciamento. Per la misurazione delle installazioni, rispettosa della privacy, si usa SKAdNetwork di Apple.
3. Dati che l'app invia (notifiche push)
Se — e solo se — consenti le notifiche, l'app registra il tuo dispositivo presso il nostro servizio di notifiche (Back4App, provider di hosting Parse). La registrazione contiene:
- il token push anonimo di Apple del tuo dispositivo (APNs)
- un identificativo di installazione casuale generato dall'app
- il tipo di dispositivo ("ios"), la versione dell'app, il fuso orario e la lingua
Nessuno di questi dati ti identifica personalmente, non è collegato ad alcun account ed è usato esclusivamente per recapitare le notifiche sul traffico. Non viene mai venduto né condiviso per la pubblicità. Se neghi o disattivi in seguito le notifiche, non viene creata né usata alcuna registrazione. Puoi richiederne la cancellazione in qualsiasi momento via email.
4. Servizi con cui l'app comunica
Per mostrare dati in tempo reale e annunci, l'app si collega ai servizi qui sotto. Come per ogni richiesta internet, questi trattano tecnicamente il tuo indirizzo IP per la durata della richiesta.

5. Dati conservati solo sul tuo dispositivo
Le tue impostazioni, la scelta sul consenso pubblicitario e i campioni locali dello storico usati per il grafico delle 24 ore sono conservati sul tuo dispositivo e non ci vengono inviati. Disinstallando l'app vengono eliminati.
6. Cosa non facciamo
- Nessun account utente, nessun profilo
- Nessuna analisi o misurazione d'uso nostra
- Nessun tracciamento senza il tuo permesso — lo chiediamo tramite App Tracking Transparency e rispettiamo la tua scelta
- Nessuna vendita dei tuoi dati
- Nessun dato raccolto consapevolmente dai minori — è un'utility sul traffico classificata 4+
7. I tuoi diritti
Ai sensi della legge svizzera sulla protezione dei dati (nLPD) e del GDPR puoi chiedere l'accesso, la rettifica o la cancellazione dei dati descritti nella sezione 3. Poiché non conserviamo informazioni identificative, indica la data approssimativa in cui hai attivato le notifiche per aiutarci a individuare la registrazione. Scrivi a bacchin@tiscali.it. Per i dati pubblicitari trattati da Google, fai riferimento a Google e ai controlli privacy di Google.
8. Modifiche
Questa informativa sarà aggiornata ogni volta che cambiano le pratiche sui dati dell'app, e la data di "ultimo aggiornamento" qui sopra cambierà di conseguenza.

1. Wer wir sind
Gottardo Live ist eine iOS-App von Fabrizio Bacchin (Schweiz), die Echtzeit-Verkehrsinformationen für den Gotthard-Strassentunnel anzeigt. Bei Fragen zu dieser Richtlinie schreibe an bacchin@tiscali.it.
2. Werbung
Die kostenlose App zeigt ein Werbebanner von Google AdMob. Um Anzeigen auszuwählen, auszuliefern, zu messen und zu schützen, kann das Werbe-SDK von Google technische Daten deines Geräts verarbeiten — etwa eine Geräte-/Werbekennung, die IP-Adresse, den ungefähren (nicht genauen) Standort und Daten zur Anzeigeninteraktion. Für diese Verarbeitung handelt Google als eigenständig Verantwortlicher nach seinen eigenen Richtlinien.
Im Europäischen Wirtschaftsraum, im Vereinigten Königreich und in der Schweiz holen wir deine Einwilligung über das Einwilligungsformular von Google ein, bevor eine Anzeige angefordert wird. Du kannst diese Wahl jederzeit unter Einstellungen → Datenschutzoptionen in der App ändern oder widerrufen. Bei Ablehnung werden nur nicht personalisierte („limited“) Anzeigen gezeigt.
Die App fragt vor jeglichem Tracking über Apples App Tracking Transparency-Dialog um deine Erlaubnis. Wenn du zustimmst, können Anzeigen anhand der Werbekennung deines Geräts (IDFA) personalisiert werden; wenn du ablehnst, siehst du nur nicht personalisierte Anzeigen. Du kannst dies jederzeit in den iOS-Einstellungen → Datenschutz & Sicherheit → Tracking ändern. Für die datenschutzfreundliche Installationsmessung wird Apples SKAdNetwork verwendet.
3. Daten, die die App sendet (Push-Benachrichtigungen)
Nur wenn du Benachrichtigungen erlaubst, registriert die App dein Gerät bei unserem Benachrichtigungsdienst (Back4App, ein Parse-Hosting-Anbieter). Die Registrierung enthält:
- den anonymen Apple-Push-Token deines Geräts (APNs)
- eine zufällige, von der App erzeugte Installationskennung
- Gerätetyp ("ios"), App-Version, Zeitzone und Spracheinstellung
Nichts davon identifiziert dich persönlich, es ist mit keinem Konto verknüpft und wird ausschliesslich zur Zustellung von Verkehrsmeldungen verwendet. Es wird nie verkauft oder für Werbung weitergegeben. Wenn du Benachrichtigungen ablehnst oder später deaktivierst, wird keine Registrierung erstellt oder verwendet. Du kannst die Löschung jederzeit per E-Mail verlangen.
4. Dienste, mit denen die App kommuniziert
Um Echtzeitdaten und Werbung anzuzeigen, verbindet sich die App mit den folgenden Diensten. Wie bei jeder Internetanfrage verarbeiten diese für die Dauer der Anfrage technisch deine IP-Adresse.

5. Nur auf deinem Gerät gespeicherte Daten
Deine Einstellungen, deine Werbe-Einwilligung und die lokalen Verlaufsdaten für das 24-Stunden-Diagramm werden auf deinem Gerät gespeichert und nicht an uns übertragen. Beim Löschen der App werden sie entfernt.
6. Was wir nicht tun
- Keine Benutzerkonten, keine Profile
- Keine eigene Analyse oder Nutzungsmessung
- Kein Tracking ohne deine Erlaubnis — wir fragen über App Tracking Transparency und respektieren deine Wahl
- Kein Verkauf deiner Daten
- Keine wissentlich von Kindern erhobenen Daten — es ist ein Verkehrs-Tool mit Freigabe 4+
7. Deine Rechte
Nach dem Schweizer Datenschutzgesetz (revDSG) und der DSGVO kannst du Auskunft, Berichtigung oder Löschung der in Abschnitt 3 beschriebenen Daten verlangen. Da wir keine identifizierenden Informationen speichern, gib bitte das ungefähre Datum an, an dem du Benachrichtigungen aktiviert hast, damit wir die Registrierung finden. Schreibe an bacchin@tiscali.it. Für die von Google verarbeiteten Werbedaten wende dich an Google und die Datenschutzeinstellungen von Google.
8. Änderungen
Diese Richtlinie wird aktualisiert, sobald sich die Datenpraktiken der App ändern, und das Datum „zuletzt aktualisiert“ oben ändert sich entsprechend.

2. Publicité
L'app gratuite affiche une bannière publicitaire fournie par Google AdMob. Pour sélectionner, diffuser, mesurer et protéger les annonces, le SDK publicitaire de Google peut traiter des données techniques de votre appareil — comme un identifiant d'appareil/publicitaire, l'adresse IP, la localisation approximative (non précise) et les données d'interaction avec les annonces. Pour ce traitement, Google agit en tant que responsable indépendant selon ses propres règles.
Dans l'Espace économique européen, au Royaume-Uni et en Suisse, nous demandons votre consentement via le formulaire de Google avant toute demande d'annonce. Vous pouvez modifier ou retirer ce choix à tout moment dans Réglages → Options de confidentialité dans l'app. En cas de refus, seules des annonces non personnalisées (« limited ») sont affichées.
L'app demande votre autorisation via l'invite App Tracking Transparency d'Apple avant tout suivi. Si vous l'autorisez, les annonces peuvent être personnalisées à l'aide de l'identifiant publicitaire de votre appareil (IDFA) ; si vous refusez, vous ne verrez que des annonces non personnalisées. Vous pouvez modifier ce choix à tout moment dans Réglages iOS → Confidentialité et sécurité → Suivi. SKAdNetwork d'Apple est utilisé pour la mesure des installations respectueuse de la vie privée.
3. Données que l'app envoie (notifications push)
Si — et seulement si — vous autorisez les notifications, l'app enregistre votre appareil auprès de notre service de notifications (Back4App, hébergeur Parse). L'enregistrement contient :
- le jeton push anonyme d'Apple de votre appareil (APNs)
- un identifiant d'installation aléatoire généré par l'app
- le type d'appareil (« ios »), la version de l'app, le fuseau horaire et la langue
Rien de tout cela ne vous identifie personnellement, n'est lié à aucun compte et sert exclusivement à envoyer les notifications de trafic. Ces données ne sont jamais vendues ni partagées à des fins publicitaires. Si vous refusez ou désactivez ensuite les notifications, aucun enregistrement n'est créé ni utilisé. Vous pouvez en demander la suppression à tout moment par e-mail.
4. Services avec lesquels l'app communique
Pour afficher des données en temps réel et des annonces, l'app se connecte aux services ci-dessous. Comme pour toute requête internet, ils traitent techniquement votre adresse IP le temps de la requête.

5. Données stockées uniquement sur votre appareil
Vos réglages, votre choix de consentement publicitaire et les échantillons locaux de l'historique utilisés pour le graphique sur 24 heures sont stockés sur votre appareil et ne nous sont pas transmis. La suppression de l'app les efface.
6. Ce que nous ne faisons pas
- Aucun compte utilisateur, aucun profil
- Aucune analyse ni mesure d'usage de notre part
- Aucun suivi sans votre autorisation — nous la demandons via App Tracking Transparency et respectons votre choix
- Aucune vente de vos données
- Aucune donnée sciemment collectée auprès d'enfants — c'est un outil de trafic classé 4+
7. Vos droits
En vertu de la loi suisse sur la protection des données (nLPD) et du RGPD, vous pouvez demander l'accès, la rectification ou la suppression des données décrites à la section 3. Comme nous ne conservons aucune information identifiante, indiquez la date approximative à laquelle vous avez activé les notifications pour nous aider à retrouver l'enregistrement. Écrivez à bacchin@tiscali.it. Pour les données publicitaires traitées par Google, référez-vous à Google et aux commandes de confidentialité de Google.
8. Modifications
Cette politique sera mise à jour chaque fois que les pratiques de données de l'app changent, et la date de « dernière mise à jour » ci-dessus changera en conséquence.
